Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher, I respect all musical goals and work to nurture students in a way that brings out their innate musical sensibilities and tastes. While building a strong technical foundation, I also work to build artistic abilities through carefully selected repertoire and exercises that are tailored for each student. Music teaches skills that stay with students their entire lives.
Lesson Format
I offer both in-home and Zoom lessons. Typically, lessons are either 30 or 60 minutes. I suggest the 30 minute lessons for younger students and the 60 minute lessons for more advanced students. Payments are made on a term-by-term basis. There are three terms throughout the year and are considered basic commitment timeframes.
COVID Policy
During the ongoing pandemic, in-home lessons may be offered on a case-by-case basis. For in-home lessons, masks will be required unless all those present are fully vaccinated. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me and we can discuss our options.
